In our everyday conversations, many of us express frustration about the gap between government and the people it serves. While this disconnect may be common in other countries, it's important to remember that in our nation, government is in the hands of us, the citizens. The founders of our country fought, sacrificed, and even lost their lives to establish a nation where "We the People" are at the core of government.
In Tippah County, local citizens gathered on April 6 at the county courthouse to choose local and state delegates for the Republican Party. These individuals have the responsibility of educating fellow citizens about government, ensuring fairness and transparency in primary elections, and representing the people of Tippah County in shaping the party at the state and national levels.
